S-FITTING is Sekwang Hi-Tech's hydraulic angle, used to connect pipes and change the direction of fluid flow in the hydraulic system. The product is used in hydraulic valve assemblies, cylinder connection pipes, construction machines, agricultural machines, excavators and industrial equipment using hydraulic systems.

Unlike conventional forgings that are shaped from solid materials and then drilled to form internal paths, S-FITTING is produced by bending hollow hexagonal blanks. This structure creates a continuously curved path, helping the fluid flow to move in a more positive direction at the bend, limiting the phenomenon of turbulence and reverse flow. According to the manufacturer's technical documents, this design helps reduce pressure loss, while also helping to reduce vibration and noise in the hydraulic system.

Because there is no need to drill to create internal paths, S-FITTING also helps limit the risk of burrs arising in the connection cavity. The manufacturer also said that the method of using hollow blanks helps reduce machining steps, the amount of raw materials, scrap and machining oil used in the production process. One set of molds can meet many different bending angles and specifications, providing more flexibility when producing on demand.

Simulation results (according to technical data provided by the manufacturer): the average pressure transfer efficiency of S-FITTING bending reached 80.0%, while the comparison forged contraction sample averaged 51.1%, corresponding to a difference of 28.9 percentage points. Simulation results also show that in forging, the flow tends to separate and create a reverse flow zone at the turning section; while in flexure, backflow is less and the total pressure drop is lower.

Product parameters: Hexagonal size HEX 14 / 17 / 19 / 22 / 27 / 32 / 35 · Standard bending angle from 30° to 90° · Maximum length 80 mm for HEX 14 - 22 and 120 mm for HEX 27 - 35. Depending on the configuration, the manufacturer can meet many different lengths and bending angles.

Product development history: Technology related to joints has been developed and patented by the manufacturer since 2014; S-FITTING models continue to be registered in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2023.
